Ismail Kadare
This was an interesting read. The book was very unique and the story was actually fairly interesting. The main issue I had was the author never really built up any characters. The only character was the pharaoh who never got much buildup. And the rest basically were killed off immediately which was hard to follow. I did learn some history about Egypt or I could more so picture what it might have been like.
